Ordination (PCA / PCoA / NMDS) Help

Reduce a samples-by-features table to a 2-D ordination: PCA, principal coordinates analysis (PCoA) or non-metric multidimensional scaling (NMDS) with a choice of distance metric.

Requires: One dataset with at least two numeric columns.

Form fields accepted by this method's POST request

analysis_type=ordination, dataset_id, color_col, distance_metric, feature_cols, n_components, ordination_method

Parameters & Options
Only used for PCoA and NMDS; PCA always uses standardised Euclidean space.
Optional — select specific columns or leave unselected to use every numeric column.
Optional: fill missing numeric values before the analysis runs. Leave as default to keep the method's own handling.
