Morans I (Spatial Autocorrelation) Help

Tests whether a variable is spatially clustered using k-nearest-neighbour weights and a permutation p-value.

Requires: Latitude, longitude and a numeric value column.

Form fields accepted by this method's POST request

analysis_type=morans_i, dataset_id, k, lat_col, long_col, n_perm, value_col

Parameters & Options
The variable tested for spatial clustering — e.g. soil organic carbon.
Moran's I tests whether nearby points have similar values using a k-nearest-neighbour weight matrix and a permutation p-value.
Optional: fill missing numeric values before the analysis runs. Leave as default to keep the method's own handling.
