Beta Diversity (PERMANOVA + ANOSIM) Help

Pairwise distance matrix (Bray-Curtis, Jaccard, ...) with PERMANOVA and ANOSIM group-composition tests plus a distance heatmap.

Requires: Community matrix plus a categorical group column.

Parameters & Options

Community / Feature Columns Help

Abundance/feature columns forming the community matrix (one row per sample).

Group Column Help

Required — PERMANOVA and ANOSIM test whether community composition differs between these groups.

Distance Metric Help

Permutations Help

Runs PERMANOVA and ANOSIM on the same distance matrix and shows a distance heatmap.

Missing Values Help

Optional: fill missing numeric values before the analysis runs. Leave as default to keep the method's own handling.
